Phase 6A Dynasty in the making (part 1)

Mini Olympics has always been the highlight of the summer vacation of every kid in the Phase 6A village. This is the time were in the village holds a 4 on 4 Basketball League for kids in the age of 10 - 21 years old for the Midgets/Juniors Division and ages 20 above in the Seniors Division. The Mini Olympics Basketball league started in 1992 and ended in 2002.
The Juniors Division was dominated by a dynasty known as the Bad Bulls. The name Bad Bulls was given to the dynamic duo of JP Pangilinan and Tiki Ilagan. The name Bad Bulls came from the movie Bad Boys which starred Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and from the NBA team Chicago Bulls which were highlighted by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. The Dynasty of Bad Bulls began its winning ways with the Blue team in 1995 which starred Tiki Ilagan, Yum Yum Vita and JP Pangilinan. The year 1995 was a year of total domination for the Blue team as they finished the 95 season with an 8 - 1 record and with the most lop sided match in Phase 6A history with the Blue team defeating the Red team which was led by Jason de Jesus and CP Romualdez by a score of 87 - 30 which was capped by a spectacular performance of JP Pangilinan who led all scorers with 31 points which would have single handedly beaten the score of the whole Red team combined. Tiki Ilagan led the season in scoring with a 30 point scoring average. The Blue team met the Gray team led by Michael Espiritu, James Fernandez and SG Go in the finals. The finals game showcased showmanships from both teams as the game went down to the wire with Tiki Ilagan icing the game for the blue team with his game winning free throws 70 - 66. Tiki Ilagan led all scorers with 31 points, Yum Yum Vita with 22 points and JP Pangilinan with 15 points for the Blue team while James Fernandez carried the load for his team with 25 points.
